Radio Frequency and Skin Tightening 101 – Nima Gharavi, MD

In this introductory course, cosmetic dermatologist Nima Gharavi, MD, discusses the basic science of aging and treatment options to target skin laxity, tone, volume, rhytides and pigmentation utilizing a variety of devices from the CO2 laser to IPL and Radio Frequency. A comparison study of devices for tissue tightening gives viewers an understanding on RF technology and its efficacy in an aesthetic practice. Nima Gharavi, MD, PhD is a board-certified dermatologist, clinical scientist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon who has a specialized interest in cosmetic dermatology, skin resurfacing and skin tightening.
